New Kenji brand rice was founded as a result of the desire to make an all-Italian quality sushi rice by enhancing our territory. While it is true that the culinary art of sushi has its roots in Japan, it has since been lovingly welcomed and introduced into Italian gastronomy. By now, sushi is part of us, and with the right variety, studies and processing techniques, even Italian rice can reach the quality of its Japanese counterpart!
Today there are 6 New Kenji varieties, rices for all tastes that lend themselves not only to the preparation of sushi, but are ideal in terms of stickiness and texture, to the preparation of ethnic recipes from all over the world.
We have launched our RUMBO GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY PLAN TOWARDS 2030 with the slogan “Caring for you and the planet”establishing the guidelines and action plans that the Ebro Group will implement until the year 2030 to meet the demands and expectations of its stakeholders as expressed in their materiality analysis, to contribute to the realization of the 2030 Agenda with the goal of minimizing the negative impacts that the operation of its business may have on the environment, while maximizing the positives at the same time.
